The BIG GIVE campaign is about to begin! On Thursday, March 14th, the Center for African Studies (CAS) humbly invites you to join all of the UC Berkeley community and support our programs in which we collaboratively create, consider, and circulate knowledge about an ever-changing and diverse Africa. Your support enables us to be one of the leading centers for the study of Africa in the United States.
Starting from 9:00 PM March 13th to 9:00 PM March 14th, please consider making a donation to support the Center for African Studies. In addition to enabling undergraduate students to carry out summer projects in Africa, your support will help us to:
- Continue to support undergraduate research in Africa.
- Support graduate students conducting fieldwork in Africa.
- Maintain African language programs on campus.
- Bring Africanist scholars to campus.
- Organize public events and conferences to share research focused on Africa.
We also encourage you to help us circulate the link to our donation page on social media with the tag #UCBAfrica, whether you are able to donate or not. Please help us to create more moments for students and scholars now and into the future with a gift to support our work!
