Center Adminstered Fellowships

The Center directly administers three fellowships for graduate students, one for undergraduates and one for a visiting scholar from University of Dar es Salaam. Deadlines for the summer awards (Rocca PreDissertation and Rosberg/Geist) will always be early in the spring semester, coinciding with FLAS fellowship deadlines set by Graduate Division. The academic year doctoral dissertation fellowships (Rocca and Ezera) deadline will be just after the spring recess. Specific annual deadlines are listed on each fellowship link.

  • Two undergraduate fellowships of up to $3,000 each to support undergraduate travel to Africa for research and study.

Emeka Kalu Ezera Fellowship
