2008 Recipient of Distinguished Teacher Award: Karl Britto,
Associate Professor of French and Comparative Literature

The Center for African Studies congratulates Karl Ashoka Britto, recipient of a 2008 Distinguished Teacher Award, the Berkeley campus' most prestigious award for teaching. Professor Britto makes an invaluable contribution to African Studies through teaching and mentoring students of African literature and Francophone Studies, and supporting their study of African languages.
